Kevin Loecke is a Minneapolis based visual artist. He is concerned with the role that culture plays in strategies to actualize humanity and dignity in daily life. His work takes the form of public projects, installations, and individual paintings. He has co-organized many d.i.y. art shows at studio and gallery spaces in Minneapolis and New York City. In 2005 he co-founded Art of This Gallery in Minneapolis and was co-director of the gallery through 2006. He has exhibited at Intermedia Arts, The Belfry Center, and Art of This in Minneapolis, ABC No Rio and Java Studio in New York. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Seward Community Cafe. Kevin earned a BFA from the University of Kansas in 2000.
