Through the use of fired and unfired clay and found objects, Minneapolis artist Lauren Herzak-Bauman creates sculptures and installations about death and loss, commemoration and mourning. Her work has been exhibited at The Soap Factory in Minneapolis, Northern Arizona University Art Museum and at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA. Lauren currently teaches art at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and keeps a studio at the former Canada Dry bottling warehouse in Minneapolis.
