Will Reser is a Wisconsin born artist who combines found objects with hand forging, welding, and woodworking. Having no formal art education, he draws on his blue-collar roots and varied work history (carpenter, boat builder, logger) for a sense of traditional craft. Based in the Twin Cities, his work echoes the Minneapolis industrial landscape as well as recollecting imagery from wide travels; from backpacking in the Alaskan wilderness to squatting abandoned buildings amidst the urban decay of Melbourne Australia, he blends strong ties to tradition with contemporary street art and outsider art to create his distinct visions.
